No longer functions as a railroad station; the edifice is now part of the Gateway shopping district.
Amtrak currently operates at a recently-constructed intermodal facility, elsewhere in the city.

Seattle’s King Street Station with emphasis on it’s clocktower. The tower is a replica of St. Mark’s Campanile in Venice, Italy. At foreground, renovation work continues at the station, which is served by Amtrak and Sound Transit trains as well as Northwestern Trailways and Cantrail buses.

Electric sign on the front of the Amtrak depot in Tacoma, Washington; ca. 2004. Many of my trips to Portland began and ended here at this nondescriptly modern depot on Puyallup Avenue (the depot was built in 1983 to replace the cavernous and decrepit Union Station on Pacific Avenue). It is also a station stop for Northwestern Trailways bus service from the Tacoma Greyhound Station (just down the street) to Spokane via Seattle, Everett, and Wenatchee.
With the change in Amtrak’s corporate identity, the “Pointless Arrow” sign was taken down and replaced with the current “Wave” logo and matching script. As seen on “The Consumerist”.
